Occupant turns Middle East into homeowners association
I have never liked homeowners associations. Like the one where we live right now. I can’t paint my house, put up a fence, change the landscaping in my driveway, add on to my house, put up a car port, practice my shooting, cut down certain size trees, put up an outbuilding, or even walk the many paths that my fees have paid for without the homeowner’s association approval. We even are supposed to have a picture ID that is a duplication of our driver’s license so we can walk the dog. The association spends thousands of our “dues” on an expensive four-color monthly magazine telling us what we can and can’t do on our own property. Who owns this property anyway? In a sense, it’s the same as Israel.
“What? How can you say that?,” you might ask. The US and Arab nations have turned the Middle East into a homeowners association for Israel. The occupant of the Oval Office and his various Islamic partners–Palestinian Authority, Muslim Brotherhood (which supports Hamas and Hezbollah), and yes, even al-Qaeda–are the “elected” Board of Directors for the Middle East Homeowners Association. Israel has a non-voting status on the Board only because it owns the land. The rest of the Board–like most homeowners association’s Boards–just want to impose the rules on the property owners in hopes that eventually they will default on the majority of the rules and the Board can occupy the property.
Case in point: Tiny little Israel was to see its blood run deep in the Arab desert, according to the Arab leaders, when in 1967 the country defended itself against an all out blitz of Soviet-backed weaponry and over 250,000 Arab troops that had amassed on Israel’s borders. “Drive the Zionist pigs into the sea” was the battle cry of the Palestinian Liberation Organization. When the smoke settled, Israel had taken Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Gaza, the Sinai, Samaria and Judea as the Islamists retreated. The Islamists suffered 23,000 deaths to the Israelis’ 983. Ever since, they have wanted the land back. But Israel has been building houses on their land. The Middle East homeowners association doesn’t like it.
Fast forward to today when the president of the United States and terrorist operative Abu Mazen now dressed in suit and calling himself Mahmoud Abbas (he funded the 1972 Massacre of Israeli Olympians) stand at a news conference backdropped by a huge photo of Abbas with the father of modern terrorism Yassir Arafat. Abbas is taking the president to task for not upholding his promise to make Israel give up its land and the president agrees that the settlements are an issue.
Problem is, the occupant of the Oval Office has threatened Israel repeatedly over the past four years to give up the land or else. And just like any property owner worth his salt, Israel has told the homeowners association it has no authority. Joel 3:2 says, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided my land.”
