What Does It All Mean?
Last week, I watched much of the Republican National Convention. I felt inspired as I heard several life stories of those who love both Jesus and our nation. The speakers from every walk of life reminded us that President Trump loves the United States as well as all its people regardless of their race or status. Those sharing experiences of their encounters with the President decimated the false narrative of the media that portrays him as a racist and a hateful person.

10 Signs of the Looming Seven-Year Tribulation
Have you ever wondered during the past few months if the seven-year tribulation has already begun? I know that it hasn’t yet started because Scripture says that we will be with the Lord before the antichrist establishes a covenant with Israel that starts the clock ticking for this time of God’s wrath (Dan. 9:27; 2 Thess. 2:3-8).

Could 2020 Be a Prophetically Pivotal Year?
I am not making predictions with what follows, but rather pointing to certain 2020 events that I believe will make 2020 highly significant in regard to biblical prophecy. These things will shape what follows in years to come and will likely provide further evidence that the tribulation is fast approaching an unsuspecting world.

Waiting and Watching
Perhaps the strongest indicator of the season is this: many events the Bible describes as happening in the last days seem to be right on the brink of coming to full fruition. It's as if the stage is all set and we are just waiting for the curtain to rise and the actors to appear. If it were a musical production, we would already hear the orchestra playing the overture.

The Left, President Trump, and Jesus
The division among church-goers over the President's past greatly troubles me. If those in the world mistake our support for Trump as that of excusing and overlooking his past, I believe it's their fault, not ours. In doing so, they demonstrate a total misunderstanding of grace and the Gospel. Those who are ready to turn to the Savior fully understand the Lord's mercy and love.

What’s Next?
The world is abuzz with the news that President Trump ordered a deadly and successful strike on Qasem Soleimani, a top Iranian military general who was directly responsible for the killing of hundreds of American soldiers in the past couple decades. Iran had charged Soleimani with the task of annihilating Israel and attacking the United States bases in Iraq.

5 Perils of Denying Jesus’ Future Reign
I could not have written this article several months ago. Although I had no doubts about the biblical truth of premillennialism, I did not fully comprehend the perils of denying Jesus' thousand year' reign over the nations of the world as described in Revelation 20:1-10 and Zechariah 14. The denial of Jesus' rule over a restored Israel is known as amillennialism.

Prelude to the Tribulation
My assertion regarding the nearness of the day of the Lord does not stem from a comparison of the peril in years past to that of today. Our time in history is unique because of the abundance of biblical signs telling us that the biblical period of time known as the tribulation is rapidly approaching. It's what many refer to it as a "convergence" of signs, all shouting to us that the Lord is coming soon!

The Signs Scream with Both Peril and Hope
Nature groans in pain and so do believers as we wait in eager anticipation of the completion of our salvation when Jesus comes to take us home. For those paying attention, world events scream with great danger for those who do not know Jesus as their Savior. For those who trust Him, we await the sound of the trumpet and shout of an archangel.
