Since the previous Administration placed Iran on the fast track to have nuclear weapons, a curious, possibly prophetic, development has occurred between Turkey and Iran-two nations that figure prominently in the end of days, and one must come into submission to the other for prophecy to be fulfilled.
Possibility of war is much more than mere “rumors” these days. We have the historical experience, prophesied by Christ many centuries ago, to confirm that in this present hour upon planet earth there is reason to “be troubled.”
Question arises, who is the prophesied enemy of Israel called Gog-Magog in our Bible, and where do they live today?
Russia looks to be making alliances that will one day -perhaps sooner rather than later–form a coalition like that forewarned by the prophet Ezekiel in his Gog-Magog prophecy.
My own studied and prayerfully considered opinion is that while threats (rumors) of war and even hostilities like we are witnessing from ISIL, Hamas, and occasionally other volatile players around the world will continue, there will be no world-rending war this side of the Rapture of the church.
There is a bear coming out of hibernation this spring and it is prowling Eastern Europe because of an eagle whose wings are clipped.
There is something about how the diplomats will handle the one known as Gog mentioned somewhere, isn’t there?
The United States still has not taken the military card off the table with regard to Syria, although it appears that military action at least has been delayed by a high stakes international foreign policy maneuver.
The Syrian situation continues to be “up in the air,” as the saying goes, as of this writing.
