In this world, we are warned about many things. Geologists warn us that a major earthquake could strike at any time. The San Andreas fault is way overdue to shake California. The New Madrid Fault along the Mississippi River seems to be giving warnings of an upcoming large quake.
If I were to select one word that sums up most people today, it would be “unaware.” Despite the myriad of signs that tell us that the start of the Tribulation period is long overdue, few people are paying attention. Most believers pursue their aspirations with little or no understanding of the times in which they live.
When the disciples asked Jesus to describe the signs of His coming and the end of the age, He pointed to many signs. But one of the most often overlooked is the idea that when He returns, the world will be “like it was in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37-41).
What are types? They are nothing more than pictures or illustrations that look forward to their fulfillment in the form of a person, event, or object (most find their fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ).
The days of Noah were filled with evil. It was all around and even touched the animals. It became so evil that God was forced to destroy all men, women, children, and animals.
