Throughout history, Bible scholars have identified
distinct patterns in God’s interactions with humanity.
One of the most compelling frameworks is the 7,000-
year dispensational plan, which suggests that human
history follows a divinely ordered timeline leading to
Christ’s return.
What are types? They are nothing more than pictures or illustrations that look forward to their fulfillment in the form of a person, event, or object (most find their fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ).
The study of types and shadows has been missing from most studies in our seminaries today. It is a shame since these make excellent illustrations concerning New Testament truths.
From the Book of Romans to Philemon the Tribulation is not mentioned even once. It would seem that something so important as seven years of hell on earth would be part of Paul’s teachings to the church if it was to pass through this time
The tribulation will be a time of God’s wrath and judgment upon “them that dwell upon the earth” (See Rev. 6: 10; 8: 13; 11: 10; 12: 12; 13: 8, 12, 14; 14: 6; 17: 2, 8). He will keep the believer “from” this time of tribulation rather than “through” it.
