On Sept. 9, 2024, one of my favorite Bible prophecy teachers, Hal Lindsey, pointed out that God’s promise to give Abraham and his descendants all the Promised Land (see Ezek. 19:7-8) seemed implausible (unreal, unbelievable, unlikely) for many centuries.
Deuteronomy 3:23-7:11 is the Torah portion called Va’etchanan and it is read following the fast of Tishah B’Av, which began August 12th this year at sundown and continued until an hour after sundown on August 13th.
Many of us are rightly concerned because things appear to be falling apart on Earth (society is becoming more immoral, dishonest, dissatisfied, dangerous; wars, natural disasters, and antisemitism are increasing; we have lost loved ones and are getting older; globalists are working to bring in a New World Order under a leader called the Antichrist in the Bible, etc.)
But God is in control, and we are not without hope.
All the signs indicate that society is fast approaching the Rapture and Tribulation Period. Our generation could very well be the Terminal Generation that will never die (Jn. 11:25-26).
On Jan. 6, 2024, Israel used precise munitions to kill nine known terrorists inside 3 rooms at a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) school. (My opinion: Even though I am aware that some officials have good reason to believe that foreigners (and some U.S. haters such as the George Soros clan) are paying these protestors to harm America (and America’s relationship with Israel), something else is going through my mind: At the end of the age, God will cause multitudes of Jews to leave the nations they are in and to return to the Promised Land. The demonstrators are unwittingly fulfilling Bible prophecy that is a prelude to the Rapture and Tribulation Period.)
Israel’s possession of 4 perfect red heifers is “big” because they haven’t had one for about 2,000 years, and it could mean the Temple may soon be rebuilt.
Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria is “big” because it means Israel is now going after Iran instead of Iran’s proxies, and it could mean the Israel-Hamas war will spread and the Battle of Gog and Magog is close.
Biden’s efforts to undermine Prime Min. Netanyahu is “big” because it could mean the “curse” may soon fall on America, and it is pushing Israel to depend more on Jehovah.
A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) with credit scores is “big” because it indicates government plans to track all buying and selling.
Bible prophecy teachers (even Jewish prophecy teachers) know that the Bible teaches that Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others will attack Israel in the latter years and latter days, and the attack is called the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39).
An Iranian-backed attack on Saudi Arabian oil interests moves the end time prophecy clock forward. Iran-allied Houthi rebels in neighboring Yemen claimed credit for the attack, saying they sent 10 drones to strike the facilities. Some sources say, however, that the attack could have been launched from an Iranian-controlled area in Iraq. Iran is, in alignment with its ongoing pattern, denying any responsibility and says it is prepared to go to war with the US. In mid-June, two oil tankers were attacked in the Gulf of Oman and Iran was accused of being the culprit. This prompted President Trump to send an additional 1,000 troops to the Middle East and put American military on high alert.
