A non-prophetic prophecy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Often times in Christianity common sense is considered prophecy. I think it is a non-starter. If you see a guy standing in line who is 6’4″ 240 lbs wearing a football jersey, it is not really prophetic to say that he is going to play football. He likely already does. So here is a non-prophetic prophecy for America: If socialized healthcare is allowed, the American middle class will essentially disappear. The American middle class is the partnership in the Republic that economically made this country great, held it together morally, and was the key stakeholder in keeping it great and sustaining the future. In every dictatorship or emerging growth country, the middle class is missing. America is heading in that direction fast.<\/p>\n

Former President Jimmy Carter, heretofore arguably the worst president in contemporary American history until the current occupant of the Oval Office, told AP that the income gap in the United States has increased to the point where members of the middle class resemble the Americans who lived in poverty “when he occupied the White House.” I guess we could say that the current occupant finally accomplished the socialist goal toward which Carter worked so hard. I remember the gas lines, the double digit unemployment, the double digit mortgage rates, the double digit inflation under Jimmy Carter. In short, he was a horrible president. His presidency started the modern demise of the middle class. <\/p>\n

But that is the keystone of socialism and communism. It brings everyone down to the lowest common denominator because that is the group easiest to control. Therein, those who support the socialist government, including the “elected” leadership, all make out like bandits. Largely because they are bandits. They rob from those who have money and pocket the bulk of it while saying they are redistributing it to the poor. In many countries like Nicaragua, for example, they convince the church that socialism is God’s way. The church “buys in” because its corrupt leadership gets a cash haul for convincing the poor to become poorer in the name of Christ. At least that is not happening yet in America, or is it?<\/p>\n

In looking closely at how socialized healthcare is set up for the US, there are high deductibles and high premiums. For people who don’t go along with it, there are taxes called fines. Those who will use it least–the young and healthy–have the most expensive premiums and highest deductibles. They will pay the most over the years, and receive the least–the disappearance of the middle class. This, combined with the qualitative easing policies of printing money to prop up Wall Street, will erode the middle class through inflation and joblessness. Government becoming god. Psalm 33:12 says “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” With the government god, there is no blessing for the nation, nor inheritance for its people.” <\/p>\n
