{"id":1856,"date":"2023-09-18T17:28:13","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T22:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prophecyforum.com\/bible-prophecy\/?p=1856"},"modified":"2023-09-18T17:50:11","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T22:50:11","slug":"when-the-trumpets-blow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prophecyforum.com\/bible-prophecy\/when-the-trumpets-blow\/","title":{"rendered":"When the Trumpets Blow!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>When the Trumpets Blow! <\/strong>&#8211; By Daymond Duck &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/r20.rs6.net\/tn.jsp?f=001TV0gWRnz8Tg-2UkuvgtkZ0JWTm3dKswBiYkS1o1C8YbL5twOkStF8paahBuOu_2jrMpTyPi0VOQhzO-oRKqFyJ8zaZQyxbg2tbfvddUgfPD4LiXfumdjz0tsGlxaZQmqE_UZZ822Tkf3KFlpB3qf7QHQiefEwGuhI69GrZhgRNoEMDOyafaRIJDPimRHWftmmvnjCWkJ3VPVX1WhU00zow==&amp;c=Cypzpkdci9ubx123VntLsAif-zzWgoxVfSxu_I_4EkH7oO6TnSnYsQ==&amp;ch=CbPY6aTdrGYyvuIpq_2pUz_LN37Cv9tkBxOB5e0Kvs4ZjXQcGdi8oQ==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.raptureready.com\/2023\/09\/16\/trumpets-by-daymond-duck\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a possibility that this article will be posted on Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets), so I felt led to mention a few things the Bible says about Trumpets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Hebrews were wandering in the wilderness, God told Moses to make 2 trumpets of silver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>God told Moses to blow the trumpets:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To signal the people to assemble,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To signal the people to march,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To signal the people at times of war,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To announce the feast days and sacrifices (Num. 10:1-10).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He told Moses what Feast days to observe, when to observe them, and why they should observe them (Lev. 23).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BLOW THE TRUMPETS TO ASSEMBLE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God said, \u201cwhen they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation\u201d (Num. 10:3).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BLOW THE TRUMPETS TO MARCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God said, \u201cMake thee two trumpets of silver . . . for the journeying of the camps\u201d (Num. 10: 2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Moses wanted the Jews to move to a new location, they were to start moving at the sound of a trumpet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BLOW TRUMPETS FOR WAR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God said, \u201cIf ye go to war . . . blow the trumpets and I will remember you\u201d (Num. 10:9).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At Jericho, God told Joshua to march around the city once each day for 6 days and have priests blow rams\u2019 horns (shofars or trumpets; Josh. 6:1-27).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He told them to do it 7 times on the seventh day, and on the seventh time, the walls of Jericho fell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BLOW TRUMPETS FOR FEASTS AND SACRIFICES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God said, \u201cin the day of your gladness . . . Ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices\u201d (Num. 10:10).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trumpets were blown to show that the Feast Days and sacrifices were special days and events, not ordinary days and events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are special because they point to God and Jesus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TRUMPETS AND THE VOICE OF GOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Israelites heard the voice of the trumpet when God came down to give them the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai (Ex. 19:16).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When John saw Jesus on the Isle of Patmos, he heard a voice like a trumpet (Rev. 1:10).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When John was called up into heaven, he heard a voice as of a trumpet (Rev. 4:1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TRUMPETS WHEN DECEASED CHRISTIANS ARE RAISED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Paul said, \u201cthe Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first\u201d (I Thess. 4:16).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AN OLD TESTAMENT PICTURE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT RAPTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Moses led the Jews to Mt. Sinai (Ex. 19:1).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>God told Moses He would come down in a thick cloud to meet the people (Ex. 19:9-11).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus will come down in the clouds to meet His people at the Rapture (I Thess. 4:16).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>God wanted the Jews to hear His voice at Mt. Sinai (Ex. 19-9).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus will shout, and His people will hear His voice at the Rapture (I Thess. 4:16).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BACK TO MT. SINAI (THREE DAYS LATER)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cThere were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud\u201d (Ex. 19:16).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cAnd Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God\u201d Ex. 19:17).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the Rapture, the church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (I Thess. 4:17).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE LAST TRUMP OR GREAT BLAST<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cMount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.&nbsp;And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice\u201d (Ex. 19:18-19).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The last blast of the trumpet was the longest and loudest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I have read that some of the religious Jews call that last blast the \u201clast trump\u201d or the \u201cgreat blast.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ASSEMBLE AT THE DOOR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When the trumpets were blown a certain way in the wilderness, the Jews were to assemble at the door of the tabernacle (Ex. 19:13).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Jesus blows the trumpet, the Church will assemble in the air and go to the door of heaven (I Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 4:1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>More:<\/strong> The Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits foretold the gospel (the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus). Not all agree, but many prophecy teachers believe the Feasts of Pentecost and Trumpets foretell the beginning and end of the Church Age, also called the beginning and end of the Age of Grace.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are some events that seem to indicate that we are getting close to the Rapture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One,<\/strong> concerning trumpets: to alert the Jews that something terrible is about to happen, God told the prophet Joel to \u201cBlow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations\u201d (Joel 2:1-2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day of the Lord refers to the Tribulation Period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The blowing of the trumpet is to get the people\u2019s attention (to get people to listen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sept. 10, 2023, Rabbi Yehuda Glick (of Temple Mount fame) blew a trumpet on the Mount of Olives in honor of God, the sovereign Creator who created the world in six days (the King to whom everyone on earth is accountable).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glick was troubled by the fact that political considerations prevented him from blowing the trumpet on the Temple Mount, so he chose a spot that allowed him to see where the Temple once stood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>My opinion:<\/strong> One purpose of the prophetic signs that are shaping up in the world today is to warn the world that the Tribulation Period is close. I suppose people can debate whether Glick blowing a trumpet on the Mount of Olives is a warning or not, but it seems to me that people need to listen to those who are saying the Tribulation Period is close. This is not the first time religious Jews have done this, but it is not unusual for God to give several warnings before He acts.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Two,<\/strong> concerning peace and safety in the Middle East: on Sept. 6, 2023, it was reported that U.S. Sec. of State Antony Blinken has:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held more discussions with the Saudis about a defense agreement between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia (to protect Saudi Arabia against Iran) that would include a U.S.peace agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held more discussions with Israel and pledged that the U.S. will continue to support \u201cpolicies that ensure freedom, security (safety), and prosperity for Israelis and Palestinians alike.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>Note:<\/strong> A breakthrough doesn\u2019t seem imminent, but the discussions are heating up, and there have been several reports that an agreement could come as soon as early 2024. I am not predicting it, but it is possible that a declaration of peace and safety could be shaping up.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Three,<\/strong> concerning the globalist desire to reduce the population of the earth: on Sept. 6, 2023, Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Org. (WHO), said Covid is here to stay, and we need tools to fight it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though hundreds of highly qualified doctors, scientists, and educators say the jab is causing people to get sick and die, the WHO is still urging people to get tested, get vaccinated (even if they recently received one), wear a mask, and practice social distancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WHO is still seeking the authority to decide what constitutes a pandemic, to declare one, and to force everyone on earth to obey their instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>Note:<\/strong> I believe abortion, homosexuality, and euthanasia are part of the plan to reduce the population of the earth. Open borders and the free flow of drugs that are killing millions may also be part of it. Denying the use of drugs that could save lives\u2014Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc.\u2014during the Covid crisis could be part of it. Moving Covid patients from hospitals could be part of it. Children in the U.S. have died suddenly following an mRNA vaccination for Covid, and some people still want to force it on children.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four, concerning natural disasters: on Sept. 9, 2023, a powerful 6.8 earthquake (the most powerful to strike North Africa in 120 years) struck Morocco, killing more than 1,000 people and leaving many injured and missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The toll is expected to rise as rescuers start digging through the rubble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>Update:<\/strong> On Sept. 12, 2023, the confirmed death toll topped 2,900, and more than 5,500 have been injured.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Five,<\/strong> concerning natural disasters: on Sept. 10, 2023, a Mediterranean cyclone called Daniel struck the coast of Libya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sept. 12, 2023, officials said it busted dams, washed away entire neighborhoods, killed more than 5,300 people, and left more than 10,000 missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Six,<\/strong> concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters: on Sept. 11, 2023, it was reported that Hurricane Idalia, which struck Florida in August 2023, was the 23rd billion-dollar weather disaster in the U.S. this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The previous record of 22 was broken with four months to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seven,<\/strong> concerning the ability to track all buying and selling: it is common knowledge that the U.S. government can locate anyone\u2019s cellphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Oct. 4, 2023, at 2:20 p.m., the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to send a text message (its second time to do this) to every consumer cell phone in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose is to test America\u2019s Emergency Alert System (EAS), but the ability to contact every consumer cell phone in the U.S. at the same time is a clear signal that the ability to track everyone is shaping up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eight,<\/strong> concerning world government and a global ID: on Sept. 10, 2023, at a G-20 meeting in India, EU Commission Pres. Ursula von der Leyen said the future of the world will be digital, so the world needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International digital ID systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More globalist institutions to set boundaries and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Global digital infrastructures along the lines of the coronavirus passport system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For whatever it is worth, the unelected Antichrist will come out of the Revived Roman Empire (the EU), and the current unelected president of the EU is calling for more global laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nine,<\/strong> concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: after reporting that Israel has obstructed 27 Iranian terror attacks on Israel in 2023, the head of Israel\u2019s intelligence agency said (Sept. 10, 2023):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cThe time has come to exact a price from Iran. Any harm done to any Israeli or Jew in any way whatsoever, and I mean in any way whatsoever, via proxy or Iranian alike, will elicit a response against the Iranians who dispatched the terrorists and the policymakers who authorized the terror units to carry out the plots, from the bottom all the way up to the top. I mean what I say. The price will be exacted from deep inside Iran, in the heart of Tehran.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both sides have been making threats for years, but Iranian proxies are now attacking inside Israel, and the IDF is threatening to go after Iranian leaders deep inside Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If Israel carries out that threat, the Battle of Gog and Magog could break loose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FYI:<\/strong> God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Finally, are you Rapture Ready?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3).
