Much like a quarterback suddenly tackled from behind by a player from the opposing side, the claim that God has rejected Israel and replaced the nation with the church represents a blindside attack on the integrity of Scripture.
Although Jesus is referring to His return at the end of the Tribulation, talk of drastically reducing the earth’s population among today’s powerbrokers signals that Jesus’ prophecy is already in play.
It seems totally harmless to most Christians. Many pastors who promote it also adhere to the Gospel of grace; they preach Jesus as the only way to Heaven.
