It's clear Israel is determined to destroy Hezbollah as a threat to Israel. For decades now, Iran has funded, trained, and equipped Hezbollah. Iran has expended a significant amount of time, energy, and financial resources building proxy forces and positioning them around Israel. Their aim is to threaten (and eventually destroy) Israel from a distance while maintaining plausible deniability when it comes to their direct involvement. Nevertheless, it’s no secret Hezbollah is an extension of Iran. It’s the crown jewel of Iranian proxy forces.

(My opinion: Even though I am aware that some officials have good reason to believe that foreigners (and some U.S. haters such as the George Soros clan) are paying these protestors to harm America (and America’s relationship with Israel), something else is going through my mind: At the end of the age, God will cause multitudes of Jews to leave the nations they are in and to return to the Promised Land. The demonstrators are unwittingly fulfilling Bible prophecy that is a prelude to the Rapture and Tribulation Period.)

The indicators of the soon return of our Lord are all around us, but it has been fuzzy, but grows much clearer as time passes. Much like a picture developed in a dark room, as we see the image slowly coming into view. News reports have been coming fast and furious in the last few weeks, and from this perspective, I see the puzzle of end time events growing much more into focus with each passing day.

Is the Oracle of Damascus Close?

That's ancient history in an abbreviated fashion, but what about today of the city in Syria known as Damascus? What can be the reason for her eventual demise and the city not be inhabited again? Note that in this age the only thing that could make any city uninhabitable is either nuclear or chemical warfare that causes the area to be too dangerous for anyone to be in the same area.

Syria And the End Times

With all the events taking place in Syria right now, many people are asking, "What does the Bible have to say about Syria and the end times?

Is this the beginning of World War III and Armageddon?" Those are legitimate questions, but let me assure you, this is not the end. How can I be so sure?

Because the Bible says Armageddon takes place at the end of the seven-year Tribulation (Revelation 16:16), and the Tribulation has yet to begin.
