Prophecy has a habit of coming back to Israel, as this tiny nation is the linchpin in studying Bible prophecy and what is coming upon the earth, which may have already started as birth pangs. Jesus described the signs of His return in Matthew’s Gospel:
There are those who say that prophecy has been fulfilled in the year 70AD and that we are doing nothing but waiting for the return of Jesus Christ. These folks are what are called Preterist and discount prophecy as not for our time, or that we are living in the ends of days.
Question arises, who is the prophesied enemy of Israel called Gog-Magog in our Bible, and where do they live today?
I have proposed in this message that Pope Francis “could be” the coming False Prophet, because of the history of the Catholic Church that is filled with violence, murder, sexual sins, and political visions of world dominance.

In our last sermon about this subject, we discussed Jesus teaching what the signs for the end of the age would be and who would be the recipients of these signs.
We know that it is more proper in context to use the “end of the age” as when Jesus comes back to rule for 1000 years, it will be on this very earth we now populate, but with major revisions to return the earth to it’s former glory when Adam and Eve walked with God in the garden.

Israel was sub-servant to the power of the Roman empire and their hopes were pinned on the Laws given to Moses and could not see past the rituals that shadowed the coming Messiah.
