That’s ancient history in an abbreviated fashion, but what about today of the city in Syria known as Damascus? What can be the reason for her eventual demise and the city not be inhabited again? Note that in this age the only thing that could make any city uninhabitable is either nuclear or chemical warfare that causes the area to be too dangerous for anyone to be in the same area.
Since the previous Administration placed Iran on the fast track to have nuclear weapons, a curious, possibly prophetic, development has occurred between Turkey and Iran-two nations that figure prominently in the end of days, and one must come into submission to the other for prophecy to be fulfilled.
Possibility of war is much more than mere “rumors” these days. We have the historical experience, prophesied by Christ many centuries ago, to confirm that in this present hour upon planet earth there is reason to “be troubled.”
Russia looks to be making alliances that will one day -perhaps sooner rather than later–form a coalition like that forewarned by the prophet Ezekiel in his Gog-Magog prophecy.

With regard to Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons, two important things took place in Washington, DC on Wednesday October 2, 2014: 1) A report prepared by James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence for the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee was released, and 2) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House to discuss several issues, but primarily Iran’s efforts to build nuclear weapons.
No sooner had I written, “Peace is again about to take front and center stage in the ongoing drama that is Israel versus the world,” than we find ourselves arrived at that point. There is no other matter so relevant to end-of-the-age prophecy than what is about to unfold.
