Doctrines of Devils

Doctrines of Devils

By Daymond Duck

The apostle Paul said, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” (I Tim. 4:1).

The Holy Spirit has an important message especially for those who attend church: Pay attention. Be on guard.

When the last days of the Church are winding down on earth, many who call themselves Christians will abandon what the Bible says. They will depart from the Scriptures because they are allowing themselves to be led astray by satanic spirits espousing satanic doctrines.

Satan doesn’t walk up to his victims in a red suit with a pitchfork in his hand. He has filled the atmosphere with demonic spirits that present themselves as ministers of righteousness (II Cor. 11:13-15).

They are cunning. They know who is vulnerable. They know how to lead people astray. And it is real. Few would deny that Satan tempted Jesus many times. This is important because the Church in the U.S. is in decline.

Articles about church members becoming inactive and churches closing their doors are becoming very common. There are more church closings than new churches openings. The percentage ofU.S. citizens who have no affiliation with church is rising. And on and on it goes. Satan and his demons are very active.

Members of the Satanic Temple recently announced that they have opened their international headquarters in Salem Mass. Their website says, “The fact that we have a home in Salem is a testament to the progressive mentality of the people there, and the local government’s support for plurality.”

The Satanic Temple has now opened after school Satan Clubs in several states. A 2001 U.S. Supreme Court ruling allows them to do this.

It is well known that the re-creation of an arch at the Temple of Baal was recently and temporarily erected at City Hall Park in New York City. Baal worship led to God’s destruction of Israel in Old Testament Times, but Roman Catholic Mayor Bill de Blasio thinks he has done a good deed.

Authorities in the Roman Catholic Church in Italy and the U.S.recently said there has been a “sharp rise in people dabbling in Satanism and the occult.” According to them demonic possessions are rising and there is now an urgent need for more trained exorcists.

These authorities blamed the rise in Satanism and the occult on the direct activity of Satan and the decline in faith and values in the world.

The article about this is posted at:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/26/urgent-need-for-more-exorcists-as-increasing-number-of-people-da/

Here is the good news: This Satanism and the decline of the Church are two important signs that we are getting close to the Rapture.

On Sept. 28, 2016, christianpost.com posted an outstanding article on their website titled “Globalism Is Anti-Christ, Demonic, Theologians Argue.”

The article is about globalism (world government) and a global value system (a world religion).

The author, Brandon Showalter, does an excellent job of pointing out the demonic aspects of globalism, its opposition to the kingdomof God and the danger of removing our borders.

The article points out that one of the candidates for Pres. of the U.S.opposes this demonic globalism and the other fully embraces it.

Many people don’t seem to realize (is this strong delusion?), that the coming world government will be headed up by the Antichrist and he will be a Satan worshipper (Rev. 13:3-4). They don’t seem to understand that demonic activity will lead to the battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16:13-4).

Anyway, one of the prophecies of the Tribulation period is a day of darkness and gloominess. Spiritual darkness is flooding down on the U.S. (Zeph. 1:15).  Please vote.

Surely it Is Near

Surely it Is Near – By Daymond Duck – http://www.raptureready.com/featured/duck/dd191.html

There are no words to describe how bad the Tribulation period is going to be; one-fourth of earth’s population will die (Rev. 6:7-8); one-third of those who are left will die (Rev. 9:13-21). Satan will be cast down to this earth, having great wrath because his time is short (Rev. 12:12), and more.

It will be a time of trouble such as the world has never seen and there will never be anything like it again (Dan. 12:1; Matt. 24:21). No one would survive except for the fact that God has limited the Tribulation period to seven years (Dan. 9:27; Matt. 24:22).

Even though multitudes will die, good comes to those who love God (Rom. 8:28) and a great number, greater than anyone can count will be saved. These new believers will stand before the throne of God in heaven praising Him and His Lamb Jesus (Rev. 7:9-10). Heaven will be filled with rejoicing, shouting and worship (Rev. 7:11-12).

But sin will still be rampaging on earth and despite the fact that God will provide 144,000 Jews to evangelize the world (and despite the fact that billions have died), multitudes will still refuse to repent of their sins (Rev. 7:4-8; 9:20).

And the Holy Spirit identified the main sins that they will commit: devil worship, idolatry, murder, sorcery (the Greek word is pharmakeion or drugs and most can be legally purchased at pharmacies), fornication and theft.

Concerning devil worship, many Christians are shocked because a New York group called the Satanic Temple has been allowed to erect a statue of Satan (Baphomet) in Detroit, MI; they have tried to erect one in Oklahoma City, OK (this may be on hold); they are holding “Friends of Satan” forums, etc.

But an increase in Satan worship is just one more sign of where the world is on God’s prophetic clock. Multitudes are going to make it their religion of choice (Rev. 13:4).

Concerning idolatry, worshipping idols and images has been a great sin throughout history (in Israel during Old Testament Times, in ancient Greece, in the Roman Empire, in the Roman Catholic Church, in other religions, etc.).

But worshipping idols should be expected if humanity is approaching the Tribulation period because all of the lost will worship the image of Antichrist during that awful time (Rev. 13:15-18).

Concerning murders, many Christians are shocked because approximately 25 law enforcement officials have been murdered in the first eight months of 2015, Planned Parenthood has become a slaughterhouse that butchers babies and sells their body parts and children have been shot at schools (Columbine, VA Tech, etc.).

We are shocked because so many people are being killed in Chicago, Baltimore and other cities; shocked because Christians have been shot in church (the South Carolina church, etc), and because of the on-air WDBJ-TV shootings, etc. But this societal degeneration should be recognized as another important indicator of the coming Tribulation period.

And just this past week, Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis, whom U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning placed in the custody of U.S. Marshals who took her to Carter County jail for contempt of court; for refusing to uphold a court order to issue marriage licenses to gay couples due to her faith as an Apostolic Christian.

Concerning sorcery (drugs), marijuana has been legalized in two states and there is a good chance that it will soon be legalized in several other states. There are federal laws that forbid this. But the U.S. Department of Justice has decided not to enforce those laws.

America is groaning under the curse of sin and big part of the problem is people who ignore sin and refuse to prosecute it (Gen. 3:17; Rom. 8:20-22).

Concerning fornication, many Christians were stunned for days when the U.S. Supreme Court ignored the Word of God and legalized gay marriage. Many marriages broke up when husbands and wives learned that their spouse is on the Ashley Madison cheat list.

Many pastors, Sunday school teachers, deacons and others were forced to resign when their name appeared on the list. These things show that society is rapidly descending toward the fornication of the prophesied Tribulation period society.

Concerning theft, viewers were shocked when the Director of Community Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison suggested that police should stop prosecuting people who shoplift from Wal-Mart and Target.

And as if that isn’t bizarre enough, two professors called for the police to stop patrolling certain areas of the city. Light is being exchanged for darkness.

The bottom line is that there is a strikingly unusual uptick in sin and it has a strange resemblance to Tribulation period events.  Surely the Rapture is near and there is no reason for God’s people to despair because Jesus is preparing new homes for His people.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4).

Nearing Midnight: Month of Destiny Conclusion

Nearing Midnight: Month of Destiny Conclusion – Terry James – http://www.raptureready.com/rap16.html

Beginning about September 13 and thereafter there will likely come upon the United States and upon the world some kind of direct Judgment for anti-God activities that take mankind ever farther from the Creator. This, I infer, is the belief of many within biblical prophecy circles, based upon the articles I’ve read and upon the tremendous number of emails I’ve received.

I’ve been asked dozens of times over the past few months my opinion on what will come of such things as this being the Shemitah year, in consideration of all the coalescing signals that something dramatic will happen beginning September of 2015. Some of those things are included in the following partial list. My thanks to my good friend Daymond Duck for his article outlining these.[1]

* Sept. 13: The end of the Sabbatical year (at sundown on Sept. 13) and the date that a highly respected ultra-Orthodox Jewish Rabbi named Chaim Kanievsky says Israel ‘s Messiah will arrive.

* Sept. 13: The Shemitah year (also called a Sabbath year, or a Sabbatical year, or the seventh year of the agricultural cycle) ends at sundown on Sept. 13. It is associated with financial issues; debt forgiveness; economic problems, etc. Author Jonathan Cahn submits that the cycles suggest possible problems for this time frame. In recent history, past national and global economic sharp downturns have occurred as part of these cycles.

* Sept.13-15: Rosh Hashanah (also called the Jewish New Year or the Feast of Trumpets) begins at sundown on Sept. 13 and ends at sundown on Sept. 15. Some (not all) prophecy teachers believe the Rapture could occur at the end of Rosh Hashanah this year or next year or some year.

* Sept.15: The purported military drill called Joint Assistance for Development and Execution (JADE) Homeland Eradication of Local Militants (HELM) is supposed to end. (Some believe this is possibly an exercise for martial law in case of civil anarchy.)

* Sept.15: The seventieth UN General Assembly will begin meeting. Sometime while these meetings are taking place, France is expected to present a resolution to the UN Security Council to divide the Promised Land (two-state solution) and to force a peace treaty on Israel and the PA.

* Sept. 22-23: Yom Kippur (also called the Day of Atonement or the Feast of Atonement) begins at sundown on Sept. 22. This will mark the beginning of the next year of Jubilee (the fiftieth year). In Jewish calendar terms, this time, among other things, is to require a renewed focus on things of God.

* Sept. 28: The Feast of Tabernacles and the fourth blood moon in the current Tetrad will take place on this date. Several major prophetic events have happened just before or just after other blood moon Tetrads. The Jewish Talmud (not the Bible) says blood moons are a sign of war in Israel . Several major end-of-the-age wars are mentioned in the Bible and some prophecy teachers believe some or all of these could soon occur.

Those who have written articles on these matters express in most cases the Supreme Court’s backing of same-sex marriage and other recent decisions that take America farther away from God’s influence as being primary in their thinking on why judgment is about to fall and why September of this year is when it is likely to begin. These articles, among other means of delivering the ominous forewarnings, have prompted many emailers to write.

One writes, in part:

In lieu of the many dire warnings about this Sept/Oct period, Shemitah, blood moons, economic collapse, etc. do you think the Rapture will precede the NWO being established or we will be whisked away before full implementation?… There is so much misinterpretation, fear porn and outright deceit being bandied about, I wondered if you had a chronology in mind other than an imminent Rapture? It’s been imminent now for decades.

Another writes, in part:

As I’m sure you know the internet is ablaze with all the September dates and happenings that seem to be pointing towards some form of major event. At the UN we have the forging of a two state solution and the Pope’s speech. Movies that have for years been pointing towards some type of calamity (mainly in NYC) slated for 9/23/15 and of course CERN restarting on the 23rd of September with the design of opening a portal to another dimension. Before knowing much about the above I scheduled a business trip to New York City (that would be very costly for me to reschedule) for the week of September 21 thru 25…the last item above (CERN) probably scares me the most…but overall do you put much stock in the culmination of all these September events (including the super Shemitah)?

Yet another expresses his thoughts about the worry over the month of September 2015:

“Unfortunately it seems that lately I have read a number of news articles that were posted on RR and written by folks who seem to be Christian but seem to have no idea of the concept of the Rapture. They bellow on and on about how bad things are now or will be soon yet they can’t offer any hope, much less mention THE BLESSED HOPE of the Rapture.”

My thoughts are just that…my thoughts. They are based upon observation of these troubled times, after prayer, and under the light and template of God’s prophetic Word. I haven’t received special words of knowledge or dreams–that is, extrabiblical revelations– as, apparently, have some recipients of such privileged communication whose emails I’ve found in my Inbox from time to time.

However, I continue to maintain that the (medically documented) clinical death I suffered Good Friday of 2011 brought me face to face with a cheering throng of young, heavenly beings (the Hebrews 12: 1-3 cloud of witnesses who validated the general tenets of my thoughts on eschatological matters yet future as partially expressed below). The series I wrote on all of this–several months before my medical crisis– was “Scanning a Fearful Future” for a series of ten articles.

Here, then, are some of my thoughts on what I give the title “Month of Destiny”:

While many things of Jewish holy day activities punctuate this September, and numerous events geopolitical and even that involving astrophysical are scheduled beginning around the middle of the month, I cannot help but being drawn back to my earlier thought. “Circumstance does not control god; God Controls circumstance.” Every anticipated event of catastrophic nature in these times so near the end of the Church Age (Age of Grace) has failed to happen. It is as if there is a supernatural force preventing what should be beyond any doubt a natural outcome of impending circumstance. For one example, the financial bubble continues to build on a worldwide basis. The financial powers that be have thrown trillions of dollars at the problems but admitted just the other day that it has all failed to fix anything, rather probably has exacerbated the economic woes at every fiscal level.

Stock-market fluctuations and other financial uncertainties of very recent days punctuate the effects of these manipulations.

For other examples, tensions have built in the Middle East to the point that we are now at as explosive a time as any in history. The Islamist fanatics are raging throughout the region–and throughout much of Europe to a growing extent. Iran–ancient Persia–threatens God’s chosen nation, Israel, with extinction every day through the words of its Supreme Leader and mullahs. This they promise when they get the ability to carry out such action. They are about to be handed that capability.

Yet Israel remains calm and reserved in its response, even though its once-staunch American ally seems to be turning against the Jewish state.

Russia threatens Ukraine and NATO, as well as the U.S., almost like in the good ol’ Soviet days. China, melting down economically, is threatening its Asian neighbors–and the rest of us through cyber attacks and military build-up.

Despite all of the above, the world wags on. It is basically business as usual.

There has been no cataclysmic bursting of the dam of circumstance–as there should have been by now. All agree, however, that this status quo can’t go on. Something has to give and there will be tremendous global impact when it happens–whatsoever happens.

This month of September looks to be the beginning of what could be a year when the status quo bubble could burst, according to all circumstances and to most Bible prophecy observers of the pre-mil/pre-trib viewpoint. However, I’m convinced we are at the time unlike any other in history. The time for God’s corrective action, I believe, is over for this dispensation. It is His judgment and wrath that are about to be unleashed upon a rebellious world–and an unrepentant America.

What the world faces next is not God’s corrective action, such as when, I’m convinced, the Lord allowed the Dust Bowl and Great Depression of the 1930s as a disciplining measure following the time of the Roaring Twenties. Next will come His judgment and wrath.

Jesus said that times will be business as usual when He next Intervenes catastrophically into the affairs of mankind. It will be just like it was in Noah’s pre-Flood days and in Lot’s days in Sodom. The very day God took those men and their families to safety, God’s judgment fell. Again, Jesus said judgment fell that very day! (Read again Matthew 24: 36-42 and Luke 17: 26-30.)

Most of the world–as I wrote earlier, even the majority of the born again–is oblivious to impending judgment. Again, the Lord said that His coming will be as a snare to the whole world. It will be a complete surprise. He said it would be at a “think not” time (Matthew 24:44).

If there were an economic cataclysm or a war of catastrophic proportion, the world would not be in that “think not” configuration. It would take years, perhaps decades, for things to get back into the world’s current configuration if such disasters occurred.

Nonetheless, most who don’t have their heads in the proverbial sand agree that the world cannot wag on as it is. It is about to implode or explode, depending upon one’s view of the coming eruption. I agree with that assessment.

My own thought is that if there is to be global financial meltdown this month, or any other month in the relatively near future, or if there is to be world-shaking warfare this year, next, or near future, it will be the Rapture, not man’s folly, that will initiate the age-ending cataclysm.

God, Himself, is holding back world-rending circumstance, I’m of the opinion. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We should be working in His service as never before to lift Christ so that many will be drawn to Him for salvation.

Jesus said that moment of His suddenly breaking in on an unexpecting world will come at a time “ye think not” (Matthew 24: 44). I doubt that September 13, 15, 23, or any of those dates are necessarily the time this impending Intervention will occur. Jesus told us to “watch” (Mark 13: 37). It could happen right this moment while you are reading this commentary!

The Approaching Day

The Approaching Day – By Daymond Duck – http://www.raptureready.com/featured/duck/dd138.html

This article is about the Second Coming not the Rapture. There are no signs of the Rapture. It can happen at any time and without notice. But there are signs of the Second Coming and the church is told to watch for those signs.

Many prophecy writers, including myself, believe the Rapture will occur before the Tribulation period. In that case, the Rapture will occur before the Second Coming because Jesus won’t come back to this earth (He will remain in the air at the Rapture) until the end of the Tribulation Period. So, if the Second Coming is close, the Rapture is even closer.

Most of those who watch the signs think the Second Coming is very close. They know that Jesus said, “Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matt. 24:36). But they also know that Jesus said, “When ye shall see all these things (the signs), know that it is near, even at the doors” (Matt. 24:33). And they also know that the Bible says we can see the day approaching (Heb. 10:25). So even though no human being knows the day and hour, prophecy teachers are not contradicting the Scriptures when they say the Second Coming is close.

They believe it is close because God has revealed timing clues along with some prophecies. For example, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39), God said it will happen in the latter days (Ezek. 38:16) and latter years (Ezek. 38:8). But in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled, God said Israel will be back in the land; Israel will have cattle and goods; Israel will be opposed by Russia, Iran, Turkey and others, etc. These pre- conditions are in existence today and they seem to be screaming out that the latter days and latter years have arrived.

Another example involves one of the verses mentioned above (Matt. 24:33). Jesus said His Second Coming will be close when all of the signs are apparent in the same generation. Between 70 A.D. and 1948 the nation of Israel didn’t exist so it was impossible to see all of the signs during that span. Between 1948 and 1967 Israel didn’t control the Temple Mount so again it was impossible to see all of the signs. But all of the signs appear to be coming on the scene now. Some prophecy teachers call the appearance of all of the signs a convergence of the signs. Some even think this convergence of the signs is more important than any other sign including the return of Israel. Anyway, this convergence of all of the signs in the same generation is a timing clue signifying that the Second Coming is near.

Bible prophecy requires the establishment of a New World Order (world government) during the Tribulation period and before the Second Coming (Rev. 13:7). In 2009, Henry Kissinger said, “Pres. Obama has been chosen to bring in the New World Order” and we are now a little more than two years from the end of his second term. In 2013, Vice-Pres. Biden said, “The affirmative task we (the U.S.) have now is to actually create a New World Order.” In 2014, he said, “I believe we and mainly you (the 2014 Air Force graduating class) have an incredible opportunity to lead in shaping a New World Order.” And in 2014, Pres. Obama talked about a coming “new order based on a different set of principles.” So if our leaders are close to the establishment of a New World Order, the world is close to the Second Coming and even closer to the Rapture of the church.

Bible prophecy requires the establishment of a global religion during the Tribulation period. In Feb. 2014, it was reported that Pope Francis wants to reverse the Protestant Reformation and unite all religions. The Reformation began with a split in the Roman Catholic Church. The recognized beginning of this split occurred on Oct. 31, 1517 when Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg. The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation will occur on Oct. 31, 2017. So Pope Francis has established Oct. 31, 2017 as a goal for an anti-Reformation (a reversal of the Reformation by uniting Catholics, Protestants, Muslims and Jews into one religion). He may not be able to do it, but again, if the world is close to the establishment of a world religion (in 2017); it is even closer to the Rapture of the church.

Bible prophecy requires the coming Antichrist and his False Prophet to have the ability to identify everyone and to track all of their buying and selling about three and one-half years before the Second Coming (Rev. 13:16-17). Now, it is being reported that Obamacare requires every American to have a National ID card and that the Dept. of Homeland Security will start enforcing this in 2017. In fact, NBC recently predicted that every American will have a RFID implant by 2017. So the appearance of things that will be used after the Rapture (ID cards, chipping people, etc. by 2017) are timing clues that signify that the Rapture is getting close.

The Tribulation period and Second Coming also require the arrival of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Rev. 6:1-8) which many believe is the rise of the Antichrist with an increase in war, famine, pestilence and earthquakes (also see Matt. 24:5-7). The Antichrist can’t rise because the church is still here (II Thess. 2:7-8), but this year it has been reported that wars have increased seven years in a row; the price of several foods (pork, beef, chicken, etc.) has reached an all time high and this is just the beginning; drug resistant viruses (pestilences) are spreading around the world, and big earthquakes (those larger than 7.0) have doubled since 1979. How can those who watch not believe that we will soon be going home?

Bible prophecy requires the Antichrist to confirm a Middle East peace treaty that will begin the Tribulation period after the Rapture of the church. There have been many failed attempts at a Middle East peace treaty, but proposals are now being drafted that will ask the UN Security Council to take over the peace process; to set a date for dividing the land of Israel and creating a Palestinian State; and to enforce the UN Security Council actions with international troops. It means the PA is asking the UN Security Council to dictate a solution and send in troops to enforce it.

After the Rapture, there will be a global economic collapse (Rev. 6:5-6) and a recent report by the Bank of International Settlements recently said the entire world is now in a situation of unsustainable debt and more. As the world approaches the Tribulation Period what it does to Israel will come back on it. The U.S. is trying to erase Israel’s borders and for all practical purposes God has allowed America’s borders to become seemingly non-existent. More could be said, but many prophecy writers have good reason to believe that they can see the day approaching. Are you prepared?
