Once your floors have been swept on a constant basis, you will not have to do heavy scrubbing when you want to mop. With a simple home made cleaning mix, you will be able to have your floors gleaming like a diamond. You will need to blend a cup of white vinegar with one gallon of hot, steamy water.
Vinegar has been used to clean and leave your floor clean and glossy for decades now. Ask any older person that you know and they will tell you that decades past that was what they used because it was something easy to get in their home and was cost effective. The vinegar (acid) will work away at the grime and grodies that your tile may have and in ten minutes time of sopping, your floors will look invigorated.
Of course you will now rinse the floors with fine, clean water and then dry it. Now that you learned a quick method on how to clean floors, you should be on your way to get that shiny floor you envisaged.
