Do You Really Need To Discover A Way To Stop Smoking?

You may have smoked for a long time and probably have already tried to quit a few times, but you're still wondering how to give up smoking. You are in good company since 70% of smokers are desperate to quit, much like you.

You need to display your commitment where you can see it every day, each hour if you need to. You may need a 3x5 card that states "I am quitting smoking because ..." and give your reasons. Place this card on your bathroom mirror, in your workplace, inside your car, and anywhere you typically smoke.

The actual fact is that writing down your goals is the most important difference between the 5% who in reality accomplish their goals and the 95% who only wish they could accomplish something in life.

Write down your pledge to quit. You could include several of these reasons if they pertain to you:

- I no longer want to be hooked on nicotine.

- I don't want to suffer painfully before I die from a tobacco related sickness.

- I would like to be alive to see my grandchildren grow up.

- I am sick and tired of the coughing and shortness of breath.

- I want the money I am wasting on cigarettes.

- I hate the nicotine stains along with the body odor coming from smoking.

Include these motives or some of your own. But, position your commitment where you will see it. Repeat it to yourself habitually throughout the day. Insure that it is a part of you.
