5. Take copies of all important documents for your upcoming trip. Your Passport, traveler's cheques, credit cards , travel insurance documents & your flight tickets details.
It is a good strategy to store a set somewhere in your luggage when traveling. To be on the safe side ; I always e-mail myself a set of copies - meaning: should I loose my papers, the copies will never be further gone than the nearest internet connection .
